যে সকল শিক্ষার্থী শুধুমাত্র বিজ্ঞান বিভাগ হতে এইচএসসি পাশ করেছে সেই সকল শিক্ষার্থীরা ইচ্ছা করলে সরাসরি ৩য় পর্বে ভর্তি হতে পারবে। (তবে তাদের এইচএসসি অবশ্যই বিজ্ঞান বিভাগ থেকে হতে হবে)
যে সকল শিক্ষার্থীর ইঞ্জিনিয়ার হওয়ার প্রবল ইচ্ছা কিন্তু
কোথাও চান্স পায় নাই তারাও এখান থেকে ডিপ্লোমা ইন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং করে ডুয়েট থেকে বিএসসি
ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং করতে পারবে। তাছাড়াও ডিপ্লোমা ইন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং করে দেশে বিদেশে চাকরির
সম্ভাবনা আছে। সরকারি ১০ম গ্রেডে চাকরির সুযোগ আছে।
ভর্তির
যোগ্যতা:
ক)
বাংলাদেশের সাধারণ শিক্ষা বোর্ড হতে গণিত/উচ্চতর
গণিতে পাশসহ এইচএসসি (বিজ্ঞান), এইচএসসি (ভোকেশনাল) ও আলিম (বিজ্ঞান)
এ উত্তীর্ণ হতে হবে।
খ)
সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য ২০১৯ হতে
২০২৩ সালে এইচএসসি (বিজ্ঞান),
এইচএসসি (ভোকেশনাল) ও আলিম (বিজ্ঞান)
বিভাগ হতে উত্তীর্ণসহ ন্যূনতম
জিপিএ ২.৫০ প্রাপ্ত
শিক্ষার্থীরা ভর্তির আবেদনের যোগ্য বলে বিবেচিত হবে।
গ) বেসরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য ২০১৩ হতে

আবেদন
করার জন্য প্রতিষ্ঠানে গিয়ে ফরম পূরন করে জমা দিতে হবে। প্রতিষ্ঠান অনলাইনে
এন্ট্রি করে দিবে। পরবর্তীতে চান্স হলে আবার কলেজে গিয়ে আবেদনের সময় জমাকৃত ফটোকপি
কাগজ গুলার মূলকপি ও আনুমানিক ১৭০০-১৮০০ টাকা জমা দিয়ে ভর্তি সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।
বাংলাদেশ কারিগরি শিক্ষা বোর্ডের অধীনে ডিপ্লোমা-ইন-ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ছাড়াও ডিপ্লোমা ইন টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং, ডিপ্লোমা ইন এগ্রিকালচার, ডিপ্লোমা ইন লাইভস্টক, ডিপ্লোমা ইন ফিসারিজ ও ডিপ্লোমা ইন ফরেস্ট্রি শিক্ষাক্রম অনুমোদিত সরকারি ও বেসরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানে এইচএসসি (বিজ্ঞান), এইচএসসি (ভোকেশনাল) ও আলিম (বিজ্ঞান) হতে উত্তীর্ণ শিক্ষার্থীরা সরাসরি ৩য় পর্বে শূন্য আসনে ভর্তির জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবে।

Admission Process for the Third Year of HSC (Science)
Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in the Science division can directly enroll in the third year if they wish. However, it is essential that their HSC qualification must be from the Science division.
For students who have a strong desire to become engineers but haven't had the opportunity, they can pursue a Diploma in Engineering from a Polytechnic Institute. After completing their diploma, they can then enroll in a Bachelor of Science in Engineering program at a Technical University (DUET). Additionally, graduates with a Diploma in Engineering have job prospects both in Bangladesh and abroad, including government jobs at the 10th-grade level.
Admission Eligibility Criteria:
A) Students must have passed HSC (Science), HSC (Vocational), or Alim (Science) from the Bangladesh Education Board with Mathematics or Higher Mathematics.
B) For government institutions, students who have passed HSC (Science), HSC (Vocational), or Alim (Science) between 2019 and 2023 with a minimum GPA of 2.50 will be eligible for admission.
C) For non-government institutions, students who have passed HSC (Science), HSC (Vocational), or Alim (Science) between 2013 and 2023 with a minimum GPA of 2.00 will be eligible for admission.

Admission Timeline:
Polytechnic Institutes admit students on a semester basis. Therefore, admission is conducted according to the semester schedule. The process typically unfolds as follows:
- Application period: Usually, it lasts for 7 days (excluding weekends).
- Announcement of results: Results are typically announced 7-10 days after the application deadline (published on the official website).
- Physical presence: Students who are selected for admission need to be present at the institution within 2-3 days.
Please keep in mind that these timelines are approximate and may vary. It's crucial to thoroughly understand the admission notice to complete the process correctly.

- SSC certificate (photocopy, one copy).
- SSC and HSC transcripts (photocopy, one copy).
- SSC and HSC registration cards (photocopy, one copy).
- Latest educational institution's testimonial (photocopy, one copy).
- Passport-sized color photos (3 copies).
- Application fee of 50 BDT for government institutions (to be paid at the institution) and approximately 100-1800 BDT for non-government institutions (payment details specified in the admission notice).
